Simec Group, an Italian manufacturer of anilox rolls for the flexo industry, has joined Flexo4all, a nonprofit alliance dedicated to promote flexographic technology in packaging printing. Flexo4all now has 13 members.

Simec is a family owned company founded in 1960 that manufactures in three different locations in Italy. The product range is divided into four brands: Starlox (anilox rollers and sleeves), Deltor (glue, lamination and coating rollers), Emboss (tissue, nonwowen, paper, aluminum and film embossing rollers), and Profil (cleaning equipment for anilox and gravure cylinders).

“We’re now starting to look forward to Drupa 2012,” says Jef Stoffels, director of corporate marketing at EskoArtwork and spokesperson for Flexo4all. “And for next year, Flexo4all is already committed to improve the flexographic awareness and knowledge through consolidated actions also in the emerging markets. With this strategy, we welcome Simec Group on board of the alliance and we’re sure that the company will consistently contribute to the promotional activities of the alliance.”

Flexo4All describes itself as a “strategic cooperation” of independent suppliers to the graphic arts and packaging printing industry.
